[He thinks about this for a moment and probably would protest more if Leo hadn't amended. Instead, after a long pause;]




What did you mean when you said you liked me?

[ as he reads the text, apprehension bubbles up in the pit of his stomach, and he keeps his eyes trained on the phone instead of tsuyukusa. ]

I... meant that I like you. You're my friend.

[ it sounds stupid and explains nothing but leo isn't entirely sure what he means to say here. but... after what happened with catra and adora today, he doesn't want to leave it there. and despite his hesitance, it's still alpha week, so he has just enough courage to mumble something. ]

And maybe a little more than that.

[When Leo says the first thing out loud, Tsuyukusa's embarrassment, disappointment, it's so clear even as he looks away and tries to act like that's fine and normal and whatever!! But then Leo mumbles the addendum, and he looks back, shifting to surprise, accompanied by a blush, eyes wide.

And then he has to look away again. But he takes Leo's hand and taps out;

[ okay, so like. of course he sort of knew that already? he'd guessed? but having tsuyu actually say it - sort of - is something different entirely. his face heats up, the tips of his ears turning a little red, and suddenly leo's glad he hasn't gotten his powers back yet. ]

[ ...he has no idea where to go from here so the vibes are just aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ]

[Yeah it's sort of sinking in now?? Hello?? What does this mean though??? He nods, but then gets overwhelmed by tsun and has to turn entirely away from Leo because wow it really is important these flowers get watered RIGHT NOW.]

[ honestly leo would be surprised if anyone but beau or caleb got the revival item, but. i'm not going to spoil tsuyu believing molly just grew out of the ground. ]

Though we could have just made something with the 3D printer like what everyone else got this week.

Anyway he looks at Leo in confusion and taps "A what?"

[He shakes his head emphatically!! How dare you?? he taps "library." That's basically it.]

The library's been open for a while and there are new buildings every week. Where did you think the little trinkets came from on Wednesday?

[He shrugs??? He and I, Caitie do not even know what he's talking about, and if it was the reward for the mini event it is definitely not because I, Caitie miscounted and accidentally didn't finish our thread.

But regardless. He does not have any concept of a 3D printer, he could not Possibly.]

Alright, remind me to show you later. Kon and I have been practically living out of there; it's got all kinds of tools and stuff.

Maybe we can even print out some flowers or something for you. They won't be real flowers, but they wouldn't wilt.

[ shrugs! he'd suggest a flower pot but would that be offensive to a tree? he doesn't know. ]

Will they look the same as real flowers? Is that within its power?

[ wobbles his one good hand in the air a little bit. ]

Probably more like a statuesque sort of thing? They have statues where you're from, right?

[He'll nod at that. He knows about statues. Though Leo will feel a sense of curiosity from him because he's not seen a statue of a flower before??

So he gives him a thumbs up. He would like to see.]

Anyway to answer Leo's question he reaches into his shirt and pulls out a sprig of lavender.]

[ leo blinks at the flower. files that info away, and looks back at tsuyu. ]

You just carry that around with you everywhere?

[He nods and then starts pulling more plants out of his shirt along with some containers of green goop and weird little folded paper triangles that seem to have stuff in them.]
