[ on thursday morning, there are strange signs (except... they’re all misspelled? who did this?) pointing everyone in the direction of winter dorm. follow, and you’ll find that they lead not to the dorm itself (whose doors remain closed and locked), but around the corner of the dorm, where a nice little shack awaits.

it looks quite normal, if you ignore the torn curtains in the windows, and the way the lights flicker from inside. and there’s an odd lack of… well, anyone, as guests approach - though you may see movement out of the corner of your eyes - was there something there? you must have imagined it, because you’re definitely hearing things. the door to the shack gives a loud creak as it opens, all on its own, fog spilling out to pool around your feet. the dim lights within illuminate a nearby sign that reads:

enter if you dare.

(it's not a culture festival without a haunted house! if you’ve ever wanted to be jumpscared by all of winter dorm, now’s your chance!) ]

Isn't this in bad taste? We have a bunch of dead people and also Manwol is a ghost.

[ are you going to the back of winter dorm where the shed is? no one's allowed in the dorm currently!

if tsuyukusa chooses to take the spooky path, while he's walking, he might feel like he's being followed. the fog that's rolling through the back of the dorm makes it hard to see.... ]

He's still acting like this is dumb and made up, but he does eventually look back, and around, trying to source the feeling.]

Whichever one of you that's there, I know you're not a ghost!

[ there's nothing there when he looks!

there's a whistle of wind from behind him, though. who knows where that came from, but in front of tsyukusa looms the entrance to the shack in all of its creepy glory.

[HE KICKS THE DOOR DOWN TO PROVE HOW NOT SCARED HE IS!!!

the door was open so he falls flat on his face. be nice to our shed. ]

[FDJKDSFJKDSFK FUCK. He scrambles back onto his feet and hopes no one saw him? What's in here.]

[ well! it's very foggy. that's for sure, and very dark. bluish, reddish lights every now and then seem to highlight small parts of the area so that it's not pitch black, but it's dark as shit and eerily quiet in here.

he can sort of see the outline of a table with a couple of chairs? but that's about it.

something skitters across the floor, nearby, loud enough to be heard. ]

[HE ACTUALLY YELPS AT THAT??? So much for not being scared.]

H-hey! What was that!? That better have been one of you!

[ right as tsuyukusa yelps, something small skitters right over his foot where he's standing! ]

[branches]

[HE YELPS AGAIN! And jumps up onto the table.]

There better not be mice in here!!!

there's a little vrrr noise and one of the red and blue lights happens to catch the path of three tiny little creatures... with big round ears.... making squeaking noises

Anyway Tsuyukusa grabs a chair from his table perch and throws it at them.]

[ TSUYUKUSA IF YOU BREAK A SINGLE THING IN THIS SHACK IM GOING TO MURDER YOU OFF SCHEDULE

anyway the rats scatter, though kind of awkwardly - much more mechanical - and the chair clatters to the ground. it as it this exact moment that something comes right up behind tsyukusa...

... though it's less to terrify (though will probably be a terrifying experience considering the timing and the person who it is using the Dad Voice) and more someone kind of pissed as he's getting grabbed right under the armpits. ]

he sets tsuyukusa down and puts his hands on his hips where he's visual. too bad he's still a werewolf. ]

Dude, stop breaking our furniture. Haunted house rule number one, don't fuck up the actors. Rule number two, don't fuck up the furniture.

[Well now that the rats are gone and Ichiro is here, he's no longer scared!!]
