Well, you did see him. He's - huge. [ laughs. ] About sixty feet long, probably, and he could fit three of us on his back at once. He's made of celestial bronze, but his scales have a gold in them, too, and he's got these ruby-colored eyes like search lights.
And the wings! You can't forget those, I worked hard to get those reattached!

... There's metallic paint? [ HE DOESN'T KNOW. ] Maybe I can ask Alphinaud for advice before I start the metal effect.

You know, there aren't any dragons where I'm from... Just drawing on picture books, so seeing Festus was really something. Even if that one wasn't the real one and tried to kill you.

That’s not surprising. They were supposedly just stories where I’m from, too, but it turns out most of them were killed or went into hiding along with everything else from the myths. Festus was the first one I actually met.
Yeah, but if they're in hiding, it means they're safe, so. Compromise! And Festus... He was struggling for a while there, but after I fixed him up, I think he was just happy to be useful again. Which, you know - relatable.
